Then I moved on to how you can use the master page and what a master page is; everything you put on the master page is then reciprocated on to every page in the document. This can be helpful if you want elements of your design to be in the same position on every page. You can add page numbers on to the master page and set it up so that the correct page number will appear instead of having to the page numbers manually.
After we moved on to looking at type and paragraph settings; this involved learning how to indent the start of paragraphs, adjust the leading and how to add a drop cap. I learnt how to do text flow so that each text box was linked to allow the text to flow through them.
Other features I learnt was how to add lines, place an image, remove the background of an image and wrap the text around the image. The skills I have learnt will be beneficial for the future when producing my research documents, any final outcomes that require the use of Indesign and when I work industry.
