As I need to have custom refill pads I’ve decided to look at how I could make them myself; they are actually quite easy to make. You just need a thick card for the back to support the pad and then cut both the back and the inside pages to the size you need. You line them up and use PVA glue on the bind and hold in place with binder-clips; once this is dry you glue a piece of paper to cover the bind and seal it.
I had a quick go myself, I didn’t have any board for the back so I think that limited the success I had; although I think that when I have the right materials it will work quite well.
