Pixate
Pixate is a software that allows you to build your own app and have it open up on a device so that you can navigate through it as if the app was real. This was an appealing concept for me as I could mock my app up on my phone.
However, I looked at the Pixate website I took inspiration from the demo pages. They gave me ideas for menus and layout in general; it gave me a reminder to keep the layout minimal for maximum impact.
