A Conversation - Emoji Lyrics

I started to look on Pinterest for example’s where emoji’s have been used in lyrics and to see if they are still readable and relateable.

I found that I could still read what the lyrics were through the emoji’s; I also realised that you also needed words to fully complete the lyrics as some words can’t be translated in to emoji’s. Either that or there isn’t an emoji yet for some words.

Some of the lyrics I would have struggled with if I hadn’t had heard the songs before, just because my interpretation of particular emoji’s were completely different to the actually meaning therefore there is a loss in communication/ conversation.

Therefore to fully use emoji’s effectively they must also be used with words to fully get the message across to the audience. As if you removed the words the images wouldn’t make sense on there own. So in conclusion if I were to use emoji’s I would have to use them wisely in order to get something that is aesthetically pleasing yet understood by the public.
