A Conversation - Who Actually uses them?

After starting to gain an interest in emoji’s I thought it would be a good idea to get some statistics on who uses them and other information in relation to them. I need to understand the user before I can start to use them myself or even create my own.

As an overview from looking at the statistics I have gathered that it doesn’t matter about the age of a person but more females use emoji’s than males which is interesting. Another important fact is that 92% of the time emoji’s are used online; this means I need to be reaching an online market for my campaign.

From looking at the views it is clear that users believe that they are used for ease, connection and a mutual understanding; which is what an advertising company aims for in their ads is to create a connection and communication with the user.

After looking at this data it is clear that emoji’s have a big impact online and to create a connection with your audience you need to get in touch with this market and adapt yourself to the needs of the ever developing online market.
